This sporty sedan was given a great deal of care by Volvo engineers, using the Volvo P1 platform and a 5-speed manual AWD transmission, the S60 R-Design pushes nearly 300 wheel-horsepower through an in-line-five turbocharged engine, and a sporty interior to match. Comparable to German sport sedans such as the VW Jetta and Audi RS3, this is a Swedish take on a rather familiar platform to European taste.
